Nightmare Clan-History
Nightmare is a clan known for its great surfing skills in Counterstrike: Source. The clan Nightmare was founded by Tribal & Razor in the early 2008. At the very start Nightmare had a limit set to a maximum of 10 members. Nightmare with its 10 members existed for over ¾ of that year. Although in the end of the summer most of the members lost interest in surfing or had better things to do – so back then Nightmare got off track.
Nightmare has been reborn in January 2009 by Razor – he decided to start all over again on his very own. Within a short amount of time he gathered quite a few talented surfers. The words spread around, that Nightmare was back alive! A lot of surfers tried to join Nightmare, because it was one of the fastest upcoming surf clans. In time Nightmare had surf-servers running and a website as well. Nightmare grew pretty fast. Soon Nightmare created a Youtube Account where they showed off their surfing skills in surf-videos. Nightmare worked like that over a year and claimed the title of one of the most famous Counterstrike: Source Surf – Clans. During that year Nightmare also went through some changes. A new website was launched as well as a dedicated server was bought. Nightmare participated on a tournament hosted by KSF and claimed the second place on that tournament. For Nightmare it was a total new experience, because the tournament was hosted on a 66-tick Server. On that way Nightmare finally became famous in skill – surf as well. From there Nightmare was always seen as an ordinary clan.
In 2010 Nightmare had to go through changes again, Razor – who was leading Nightmare ever since – had to leave Nightmare, because he had to go to the Army! After long discussions and votes it was decided that Kratos is going to take over the leadership. Although because Razor was gone, who was also responsible for paying the servers, the servers were gone as well. It was a hard time coming for Nightmare. Around June the Nightmare Surf – Youtube – Account got hacked. On top of that Valve brought out an update for Counterstrike: Source, which made it harder to surf. Those were the darkest days of Nightmare…
Just about one month later Razor finished his first part he had to do for the army of Switzerland. After a few weeks he decided to come back to Nightmare and help the clan to get back at what it once was. Kratos and Razor agreed to lead the clan together. A few other talented people joined Nightmare to help with everything that was planned. Nightmare planned to make a total renovation. With this renovation a new website, a new forum and a new design for the Youtube – Account was planned.
Now Nightmare is back on track and is trying to get back where it once was!
